I signed into the register at 5am, and then headed over to Haystack and MacKenzie. It was 40 and raining, and my hands were incredibly cold to start. The rain tapered off, and I headed over Scarface. It was overcast and threatening more rain when I started, but by the time I arrived back at the parking lot, the sun was shining and the day was warming up. Then it was over to Ampersand, which ended up being my favorite of all six; the views were stupendous. Then it was over to St. Regis, where the bugs were thirsty and the earlier rain had lead to some armpit chafe for me. Then it was a quick drive over to Baker for the final summit! I made it back to the town green and the register by 6:50pm to wrap up a long but good day.
