I and my fellow sender Sam Deller were the first to complete The Smugglers Round (United Kingdom) on 23rd May 2021 in a total time of 4 Hours 51 Minutes and 22 seconds.
This run was completely self-supported. I was carrying a total of 2 Litre of fluid (Water) and 4 Mountain Fuel Gels and 2 Mountain Fuel Flapjacks. My friend Sam, had over 1 litre of water and some small vegan energy bars.
We experienced many different types of weather from heavy rain, blistering winds, and blinding sunshine.
