Started and ended at the stop sign at the turn off of N59, completing the loop counter-clockwise. Weather was ideal (cool, no rain), and the clouds lifted a bit in the second half which made for spectacular views. Brought 2 x 500mL electrolytes and some snacks.
Advice:
- Going counter-clockwise (advice on hiking forums) was definitely the right call: there's this skree field that you can "ski" down on the south side of Glengower.
- Navigating around the Ben Lettery Hostel was a bit tricky -- I'd recommend scoping that out in advance.
- This route is accessibly by public transit! There are frequent buses that stop 1km down the road.
