Leaving the car park looking up to the first climb, Twyn Mwyalchod. Was nice to have some flat to warm the legs up. Crossing over the new path at the base of the climb upwards i went. The first mile is probably the most challenging. So was a great relief to get to the trig.
Then i knew i had 2ish miles of flat trail (just finding good footing the only challenging part)
Then Corn Du was straight ahead. A nice short climb to hit this. Only a few hundred families to dodge
I then just hard a short climb to Pen y fan, which was over pretty quickly before a very sheer down to the base of Cribyn. The path was a little damp which meant i couldnt really enjoy as i worried about losing my footing
Then the climb to Cribyn. (i hated this stretch the most, felt like it went on for ages) at the top i could see my last summit and also the finish line. Down i dropped to the foot of Fan y big
The final climb Fan y big was when my calves started to scream... But i knew i didnt have far to go.
After the top of Fan y big, i took a final deep breath before i put my foot down for the final 2 miles. Was nice to get some quickish running on the Roman rd before ending back at the car park where i started
