Run in Mid Winter and the recent rain and storms had made a lot of the course partially flooded if not boggy. Temperature cool and weather dry apart from the last 20 minutes with involved a huge sudden downpour
Taken at a easy/steady pace with one running pole to help with keeping momentum/balance in the boggiest sections (especially while using a well worn pair of trail shoes). Only fell over once, ironically on an easy gravel section (rather than any of the bits I was slipping and sliding about).
Interesting route that changes underfoot surfaces and conditions regularly to keep it interesting. Had a few navigational errors as unfamiliar with all the turns but a second go at this would be much quicker as you'd recognise which way to go in places. A few road crossings but little traffic to wait for.
