Run on a chilly Spring morning. The sun was out but a harsh cold breeze kept it pretty cold, especially on the beach sections and paths near the river.
Very quiet out there for most of the route bar a few more people in the Country Park on the return lake. A pleasant route with plenty of punchy ups and downs and different terrains to tackle Took this at somewhere around Marathon Pace, picking it up on some of the flat tarmac sections.
Conditions were good underfoot and the recent dry weather has removed pretty much all of the boggy sections. This made it much easier to keep a decent pace, especially down some of the sections with stairs. That being said some of the previously boggy areas are now quiet rutted in places.
