Started around 9:00am with temps pretty quickly getting into the mid-80's. Started with 1.5 liters of water and filled/filtered from a stream near round pond twice and the pond at Gunstock, but still ran out of water with about two miles left. Trails had mostly tried out with the exception of the quarry trail which was still boggy and overgrown which made the back half significantly slower. First time on any of these trails so spent a lot of time looking at the map, no major navigation issues though and a fun variety of trails.
I do think the route should be up and down the access road leading into Gunstock. The bypass trail running parallel doesn't seem to get any traffic and I don't think it adds anything to the route. I spent a bunch of time bushwhacking/doubling back to try to stay on trail which could be a fun bomb down the access road.
