Beautiful day on the French Louie loop. I was curious to do this one in reverse compared to the first time I did it. The first half felt nice, less mud, but the second half was pretty soaked, even compared to last week. And the leaves had fallen!
Weather: High 50's, low 60's, cloudy/partly sunny
Trail conditions: Muddy and covered in colorful leaves.
Wore: La Sportiva Raptors and Kahtoola Instagaiters, leggings and sports bra
Nathan pack with 2.5 L of water, tailwind, cheese, chocolate, jerky and chunks of energy
Awesome loop! Not sure which direction I like it from more... conditions count. Lots of people out camping.
