On 9/30, Jason supported me on the Seward Range. He's always up for a FKT, either going with me or being on my support crew. There's no one like Jason. He's the kindest and most humble person I know and brings so much pure joy to the world.
At first, we planned to set a mix-gender time. As of 9/30, there were no mix-gender times on the website. So, we aimed for a 7 hour day (An average between the standing mens and women's time). We took nice breaks and enjoyed the views and hiked most of the time.
After our time went on Strava, another team submitted a mix-gender time from 2022, that was indeed faster than ours. Kudos to Aaron, Charlotte, Sarah, Ben and Ryan. That must have been a fun day in the mountains!
Someday, Jason and I will go back to lower the mix-gender time. And I'll submit our lovely hike as female supported.
