On June 20, 2023 at 7:05:00 AM, I began an attempt to improve on the supported FKT of New Hampshire 4000 Footers. I completed my attempt on June 23, 2023 at 12:08:30, 3 days, 5 hours, 3 minutes, and 30 seconds later. A detailed report on my attempt is available via the first verification link. A spreadsheet with the projected and actual times that I reached the route's peaks and milestones is available via the second verification link. The actual times are recorded in the far-right column of the spreadsheet's Route tab. Each milestone's actual time has a link to the most detailed verification data available for that recorded time.
The data from my InReach satellite tracker is available in the attached GPX file. This covers the entire attempt except for the section from Franconia Notch to the summit of Owl's Head. Tracking was inadvertently turned off for this section. The spreadsheet provides links to my watch data for the milestones in this section.
Some of the links in the spreadsheet currently point to my InReach MapShare page. I have provided these links to make the initial verification easier. To see all the track points for my attempt, set the Date and Time Range under Map Filters to All Time. After the initial verification is completed, I will update these links to point to another application that displays an export of this data.
I will not attempt to describe my experience here. It was too rich and special to try to describe it in a few words. I have endeavored to do the experience justice in my report. I apologize in advance for the report's length.
