FKT: Brady Burgess, Johanna Ohm - Pinnacles National Park Loop (CA) - 2021-06-06

This was our third time running the Pinnacles loop for the mixed-gender FKT attempt. Got it today on round 3 after some navigation issues on the previous attempts. Ran counter-clockwise which seemed faster for us with a long smooth climb at the beginning, followed by a cruisey downhill to the creek and then flat rollers to the parking lot just passed half-way. The last climb is steep and switch-backy but easier to climb than descend. We started at 6 a.m. to beat the heat and crowds on a weekend morning. Started and finished at the stop sign at Bear Gulch parking lot. No condor sightings today but maybe next time (there will be a next time)! This loop is addictive!
