Ran clockwise starting at 7am from the stop sign at the bear gulch trail head. Perfect weather, cool to start, dry trail, bright blue sky and had the trail mostly to myself except for the final descent. This route rewards someone comfortable with technical trails and scrambling. I lost time to the previous fkt holders nearly every mile except for a few gnarly technical sections. Ran solo and carried all water and gels. A spectacular route.
