On March 20th, 2023 I ran the Chiricahua All Trails Route by myself, unsupported for a time of 5 hours 21 minutes 54 seconds. I started at the Massai trailhead and Finished at Natural Bridge having run all the trails minus the “Horse Trailer Parking” trail as specified in route description (Near Faraway Ranch). I took a couple photos for a group at the Massai overlook point, and finished all the nature trails there and ran the other trails in this order: Massai/Echo Canyon TH connector, Sugarloaf, Echo Canyon, Upper Rhyolite Canyon, Sarah Demming w/ Heart of Rocks and Inspiration Point, Mushroom Rock, Ed Riggs, Hailstone, Lower Rhyolite Canyon, Visitor Center spur w/ Silver Spur Meadow, Bonita Creek, Natural Bridge. I was pretty worn out by the time I started toward Natural Bridge (This was my first time on this trail, and it was harder than I thought it would be.

The temperature was around 50F at the start with a high around 62F, partly cloudy and breezy. I started with 500ml of water and filtered 4 more fill ups throughout the run at various locations. (Only possible after rain or snow on this route) I used 500 calories. If you are traveling a long ways to get here I recommend signing up for the shuttle the day before your attempt to make sure you get a spot on the shuttle. They overfilled one shuttle and I had to wait for a 2nd. Currently masks are required on the shuttle. If you can get a friend to drop you off earlier in the morning that would be even better to avoid the crowds and heat. There was a lot of people on the trails and one ranger. Growing up in the area, i’ve always enjoyed the Chiricahua National Monument.

Admin note: Brandon originally submitted his time finishing at Natural Bridge, then later realized the original intent of the route was to keep the clock running until arrival at a trailhead.
