Bison Trail in the Wichita Mountains
I started at the end of the bridge of the Northwest trailhead and finished there at the same spot as the picture dictates. Looks like this is where and how the others have done it and a personal favorite. I was by myself and carried no water or food. There is a nice mile or 2 of flat trail running before you get to the technical rocky spots. Then the last mile is mostly downhill and fast trails. Other than those two spots it is difficult to get speed on this trail. Coming from the west, I am happily surprised with what Oklahoma has to offer. Reminds me of northern Arizona trails. Fun trail and I am looking forward to seeing how fast this trail can actually be ran.
