Started and finished at Madden Creek along the bottom of the LPC. Went clockwise ascending Root Ck and descending Bedrock. Saw a golden eagle on the way up Root. It was so loud taking off through the brush that I thought it was a bear. Made it to the Parrot-Madden Saddle in :56. Summited Madden in 1:03. Madden to Gibbs in :56. Down from Gibbs in :38.
Otherwise uneventful. I'd been on this ridge before but in winter. Traversing the scree is more manageable with snow coverage.
