stunning day! so lucky to be able to enjoy these mountains. thanks to all the friendly folks out there who let me zip past. filled up water at lakes of the clouds. stopped my watch right at the road and then started again and ran to the parking lot just in case; time entered here is the segment time. so cool to see so much FKT action out there this fall!!

Note for future prezi crushers: it was pointed out to me that I didn't go all the way to the top of Pierce! I went to a bit cairn with a lot of folks taking pictures and in my haste just turned around there, but the summit is actually a bit farther. not sure how much time it took off but makes Jess's newer record even more impressive!
just letting folks know as the record gets more competitive so no one makes the same mistake :)
