I got an early start from the Champney Falls Trailhead to beat the crowds, and it was a cool, overcast morning- perfect conditions to start out. Towards the summit it was very foggy with low visibility, which made it slightly difficult to follow the trail at times. Even though this trail is more direct than the Liberty trail, it really wasn't that steep overall. Took it easy on the way down after a super fun ascent!
