SO beautiful out there, can’t believe I haven’t done it before! Followed Mike Nanaszko's choice of taking this route clockwise (same direction on AllTrails too). Could definitely have used an extra half to full liter of water towards the end but there wasn’t any filtering spots on the back half of the loop! Packed 1.5L water bladder and 0.5L running flask (I drink a lot of water), bear spray, InReach, mini self-built first aid kit, Houdini, 2 bars (only ate one), gummies, & picked up some trash (LNT!). Temps were upper 70s/low 80s and a nice breeze at times, which was great since I started ~10:20am. Highly recommend route, I was too busy taking photos and making all the new friends that I had to get my mind back into gear a few times! Kristina Randrup really made me run for it at the end, wasn't sure I'd make it!
