We wanted to see how fast we could do a round trip of Pfeifferhorn. Started out strong and stayed together for the first mile. Alexa pulled ahead on the ascent for a ways. I kept pushing up hill and managed to scramble to the top quicker than usual. After slamming one of my water flasks at the top, I started the descent. A lot of huck and pray was involved from the top of the mountain. However once I reached the saddle I was able to catch Alexa again. I legged it out for the last 4 miles resulting in our 2:28 time. Very difficult, but completely worth it.
