This was a weekend trail group run with my running group, Runaways, from Portland, ME. West Side Trail is a beautiful set of trails in Yarmouth, ME, from Tyler Technologies parking lot to the power plant on Cousins Island. The trails are rolling forest single track through neighborhoods, follow some hard pack trails popular for mountain biking along power lines and spend a short amount of time on a road when crossing a bridge over to Cousins Island. Since this was a group run we stopped quite a bit to allow all to keep up, though a few of us picked it up near the end. Though I was definitely pushing myself the last few miles, the time should be easily beaten. I'm submitting because the route is listed but no FKT is submitted yet and this was my fastest run of the route.
