What a stunning routeš!Ā
I took a bus to Porto Venere and was already in love with this beautiful little town. Then up you go with a lot of steps and a bit more technical section. This is also the part where I had to overtake most hikers, but that was also because I choose Sunday. Everyone was super friendly and made space though.Ā
I got some spectacular views on the way. Once I was on the ridge I was in fog and couldnāt see much for a long time. The trails have been great and really flowy, so that made up for not having a view.Ā
The only part I didnāt like too much was the road section because it was quite busy with cars.Ā
then the final part before Levanto had again a clear and sunny sky and I could enjoy the view again. Also the trails on those sandy stones are really cool to run.
During the run I had to fight with my legs as I stupidly did a fast 5k the day before that destroyed them, rookie mistake š
