I tried the run in the early morning and thought about the UTMB runners while I pushed myself through the last tough kilometer 😊
the very last section was closed due to a rock avalanche so I had to look at the map and spontaneously take another way. I documented my detour in the pictures and hope it is acceptable for this FKT. Not sure if they will reopen the original route someday.
also I realized the new slightly changed route has a Strava segment that looks similar- but not sure if the others on the segment also did it unsupported. I leave it to the FKT editors to decide if my attempt will count.

After considering that:
1. That section of the trail was clearly closed.
2. That section is minor as compared to the whole route.
3. The total ascent remains the same.
