I completed the Cammino di San Tommaso as a solo self support personal pilgrimage. My aim was to complete it as quickly as I could with a mix of fast hiking and running carrying everything I needed on my own and relying on shops and pilgrimage welcoming places available to everyone.
This is an incredible journey. I loved every step. It is demanding and it needs real time to enjoy all aspects from the spiritual to the historical, cultural to the natural.
I have documented all my journey on social media on instagram and facebook @outdoorspirit1
I have completed this journey in aid of Climbers Against Cancer, not only raising funds for it, but bringing all the people I have met or heard of suffering from cancer.
I am not aware of anyone else having completed the journey quicker self supported.
However, I know that a runner from Abruzzo has completed this supported running the route.
Thanks for considering my submission.
