I always knew about FKTs but until I read an article in Runner's World, I didn't realise that smaller local, FKTs might exist and when I saw this one existed on my doorstep I thought I would have a go at it with my son Noah. It was a warm day so we started early around 7:45am in the centre of Cambridge and quickly escaped the city centre onto the paths across the fields slowly getting closer to Wimpole. Once we reached the estate we enjoyed the brief shade of the woods before a final tiring short uphill section brought to close to the house. We ran downhill through an avenue of trees to finally reach the front of house and complete our course enjoying a iced coffee once we'd finished to celebrate!
