It was a humid day and we were drenched when we finished, but the deer flies did not bother us at all while we were moving. I used the gpx track and my watch indicated we were off course a couple of times. We had to stop and pull up the track on Gaia to confirm, even though we hadn't seen any turn offs. It had rained hard the night before and the waterfall was running well. The back part of the trail (inlet to the lake) is always wet, but the rest of the trail was in good condition. We ran into a trail crew working on the back portion.
