I love running in the Pentlands and this has been on my running bucket list for a while.
A lot of navigational errors (major ones at Baddingsgill reservoir and went to wrong top at East Cairn Hill) and not being confident in my route choice, meant extra distance was added and stopping a lot to check route. Naively thought my route plotting would be enough, but a proper recce was needed, so......I'll be back to improve my time 😍
Luckily no resupply of water was needed - carried 2l with me + some irn bru
Brutal, but also a lot of fun 🙃 loved the route! Didn’t see anyone until Bavelaw, to have almost the whole route all to myself was special.
