This was my first attempt at fastpacking and I did much better than I thought I would. Route went fairly well, except two bad wipe outs, and the .3 climb up Albert Mountain towards the end which left me with stomach cramps and me thinking I would have to walk the last 5 miles in. After climbing up to Albert I drank the rest of my water and the cramps subsided and I was able to run the last 5 miles or so at a decent pace.
For this trip I carried a 7 pound baseweight (all my gear), plus food and water and ran solo.
