To make the most of a trip to North Carolina for Marit's wedding, we decided to try out this loop in a new area.  There were some amazing views of the layered ridges that are common in this part of North Carolina. As an extra bonus, the route includes a historical site about a battle late in the Civil War.  We had a great time and this was the perfect intro to a bridal weekend!
