The weather was the best it has been in months!  I took advantage of the sun and perfect temperature.  I took an early ferry over and headed out.  The trees were thick in places, and the views of Rainier were stunning.  I was a little nervous that the route goes along Vashon's main road (yes, it's Vashon, so it's not like it's all that busy), but drivers always gave me a wide berth.  A great day all around.
