FKT: Christopher Simmons - Peak Pilgrimage (United Kingdom) - 2021-04-30

My first attempt at a route over 22 miles after seeing the route during training runs. Very easy to follow signposting mate the GPS a back up to keep my confidence and the route is very beautiful tracking through the picturesque valleys along the rivers of Derbyshire. The climbs are mainly steep and over quickly so you feel like you get a lot of downhill. Main route issue was going up the hill out of Bakewell through the woods. You go straight up the hill which feels wrong until you hit the gate and the familiar "This is the Way - Walk It" sign. Looking forward to seeing who come along to have a go at this fun and engaging route.
