I ran the TMT north to south with the goal of breaking the overall FKT set by Bryan Bhark the previous weekend. I was a few minutes down by the top of K3 and never quite made up the time, but managed to set the women's record. This trail has everything - steep climbs, rolling single track, and sneaky technical sections hidden by switchbacks and ferns. The trail was extremely overgrown near the clear cuts - 6 ft high blackberries, thimbleberries, and trees all weighted down by the solid mist but that's just part of the magic of Tiger.
