This was a solo run completed on a beautiful day. No resupplies or caches. Used 2L of the 2.5L I carried.
Start at the Rubble Creek Trailhead and head up the switch-backs along the Garibaldi Lake Trial. Hang a left at the Taylor Meadows Trail Junction onto the Taylor Meadows Trail. There is a great water source just after the Taylor Meadows Campground at the 7km mark. The Taylor Meadows Trail turns into the Helm Creek/Black Tusk Trail. Continue along this trail past the Black Tusk Trail turnoff. Follow the Helm Creek Trail to the Panorama Ridge Trail and follow it to the summit. There may be some route finding over snow fields leading up the north slope to Panorama Ridge. The view from the top makes it hard not to linger. Save some juice for the descent, it's a fast one!
