I saw this route a couple days ago and figured I would give it a go. Although Boston got hit hard with a 2 day snow storm 3 days ago, and I received the COVID vaccine less than 24 hours ago, it was not going to stop me. The side effects of the COVID vaccine was not significant enough to keep me from running. This was an awesome run, but a bit frustrating with the snowy and wet sidewalks and the constant stopping at many stop lights, but I was able to get the job done. The last mile was by far the hardest as I ran a 10:30 minute mile and broke trail through the Battle Rd Trail. The snow was mid calf high and added an extra 3 minutes to my total time; however, I wanted to stay true to the correct Paul Revere route. I definitely would like to give this route another go when the conditions are better, but ill take the FKT for now.
