30th May 2021: Starting from Winspit Quarry in beautiful blue skies at 0800 i was carrying an ultra vest with 2L water and 3 marten gels. This proved plenty of supplies for the 3 hours. I decided to tackle the loop clockwise (west) so the two biggest climbs were in the first half. It was a stunning route on a perfect day for trail running. A couple of brief wrong turns where I had to back track briefly. I can highly recommend the route!
