Wanted to give this loop a push after checking it out last week. Had Chris’ time in mind and managed to take 8 minutes off. Found a good line up the initial avalanche chute and tried to stay true to the ridge once I reached it, tagging Engelmann, Robeson, Bard, Parnassus, Woods, and Point 12,600' along the way. I found a good line staying skier's right coming down the slide path off Point 12,600' and didn't have to bushwhack too much - still rowdy! So fun to cruise efficiently up high on that ridgeline . . . the alpine is a special place.
I know quite a few guys who should come give this a rip and throw down a more competitive time. I’m happy with today’s effort but I know this goes faster, even for myself. But hey, even low hanging fruit tastes sweet
