Cold morning at Hawn State Park, ice made creek crossings a bit more difficult. Winter is beautiful in Missouri because you can see the topography after all the leaves fall off the trees. This is a really fun and scenic trail with a couple great overlooks. Most of the trail is smooth running but there are definitely some chunky climbs and hairpin turns. My partner and I finished together for an unsupported FKT.
