This is an application for the first female solo FKT of the South West Coast Path, anti-clockwise from Minehead, Somerset to South Haven Point in Poole, covering the 630 miles of the path. I was supported via a motorhome each day by Matthew Jaquest who supplied a checkpoint equivalent every 5-15 miles, depending on the terrain. It was good weather for the most part but with strong winds around the Lizard. It started raining in Sidmouth and hailing in Lyme Regis. It rained again on the penultimate day around Moonfleet on the way to Portland.
A large amount of mileage was covered in the first few days over high ascent and difficult terrain, the distances decreased as it became more arduous.
