Planned to take it easy as UTA 100 next week and did because mostly a bush bash for the first 8km anyway. Lost trail twice, once because a decrepit ladder was the trail that I eventually found! Plus a bush pitstop taking longer than one would hope but I popped up on the fire trail 5km out and figured if I put in a bit of effort I might get the FKT so put the foot down and just snagged it while leaving a lot of time out there for the future... I'll be ready for the bush fight, navigation and stomach preparedness ✊🏼
