FKT: Dave Stock - Neal Smith Trail (IA) - 2020-06-06

This is a beautiful trail over multiple bridges and rolling hills from Big Creek State Park to downtown Des Moines. While you don't often get to see the water to your right, there is plenty of natural beauty to this trail. The northern part of the trail running south is very lightly trafficked, as you get closer to downtown Des Moines you will end up getting more bike traffic. A great run for anyone training for a marathon, and a lot of trail heads should you need any encouragement from family members. Iowa should be very proud of this trail!
