Beautiful morning in Essex.
Enjoyed reading Ben and Michael's updates and the route didn't disappoint.
It's fast and free-flowing until "that dog" came out of the farm and went for me. Had to apply the "I'm walking slowly dog nothing to see here" tactic and it took a while before it made off.
Got lost trying to find way out of the Cressing Temple Barns but in general the signage on this route is exceptional.
Some great rolling hills and pretty much all of the trail is dry - a small section of mud which was fun.
Unsupported - nothing really on this route - so take what you need. Highly recommened - Another Essex classic
