Thought I would try hard and go somewhere a little further from home.
Left a bike at the end before starting at Peak Junction, with Laura planning to keep me company on her bike. Turns out running up the inclines is much faster than cycling so despite starting together she didn't catch me until 10km in. Trail was quite busy so I jumped off the main track at one point and ran parallel to it through a carpark then stopped for horses a couple of minutes later. I started a little quick and with the pressure of Laura chasing me I had a good pace, once she joined i settled down but in the last 5km I had a complete crash (according to the trace its also uphill so I'm blaming that). Can definitely take minutes off by trying again and pacing a little better.
