FKT: Davis Cutter - Schipbeekpad (Netherlands) - 2021-03-06

This is a beautiful route and a must-see in the Netherlands! This was a supported run; I ran the East to West. I started outside the restaurant Landgasthof Haarmühle and ended outside the Deventer train station. I used the GPS file of the previous record holder (Daan Nieuwenhuis), along with the blue/white markings on the trail. The course is well-marked, but it was very helpful to have a GPS file for some unmarked sections. There were 2-3 times the GPS deviated from the marked-course slightly, although I don't think this added any extra distance. This is a fast and flat route, with 80% following directly along the Schipbeek. Enjoy the views! -Davis
