The route starts on the bridge over the River Tone in Taunton so used the lamppost with the weird sticker as my start/finish point.
The GPX was pretty accurate but the route was very overgrown in places which lead to a bit of faffing on occasions trying to find the exact route.
When nearing Wiveliscombe the GPX diverted away from the WDW (an easier route to a supermarket) but I carried on along the WDW and then did an out and back to the shop and a slightly longer route.
At Langford Budville the route directed me down a now unused and very overgrown footpath (see photo) I carried on around the edge of the field and found a better maintained path to use but was slightly longer.
Approximately 100 metres from the end the route crosses the river Tone in Taunton on a footbridge which is currently closed so a small diversion around was required (see photo)
