Between the afternoons of October 31 and November 1st I ran the entire length of the Batona Trail from Bass River Park to Ong's Hat, turned around and ran back along the same said trail to the trail-head at Bass River Park. It took me 27 hours and 2 minutes to finish this 103 mile run*. To my knowledge this happens to be the first completion of the Batona Trail out-and-back in one go. I was supported and paced (starting at ~ 30 miles) by my crew from the Raritan Valley Trail Runners.
GPS recording for the run (the mapping feature on the watch failed after 51.15 miles, a mile or so before I reached the northern trailhead, but the pace and distance recording continued for the duration of the run, back to the southern trailhead):

* - there are GPS recordings that show the length of this trail to be 53 miles, which would make an out-and-back 106 miles.
