This is a beautiful 84km winter route that I established on March 17, 2014 in a time of 13h43m28s.
It begins at the Snowmobile Clubhouse in Yarker, follows Trail #101 north to Trans Canada Trail, and then East to Sharbot Lake. The route crosses 13 lakes and multiple swamps and marshes. With this being a winter route, extreme caution needs to be taken to make sure that the ice on the lakes is safe. Checking snowmobile trail status is well advised. I waited until later in the winter to insure ice was safe...however did see a few sections of open water.
This run was done unsupported, pulling a pulk and with full mandatory gear list that northern races require (Yukon Arctic Ultra list).
Here is my report and GPS data... healthandadventure.com/2014/03/sharbot-lake-84-km-unsupported-its-not-about-the-race-shirt/
