We started the MURL from the Mount Olympus trailhead just after 4AM on Saturday September 19th. We completed the route self-support, with having 3 drops along the way at the top of Neffs Canyon, Dog Lake and Burch Hollow. Our supply drops had food and water at each.
We used the GPX files from the other FKT submissions to help with directions when needed. South side of the canyon is pretty straight forward. The North side is pretty much all bush whacking from Murdoch Peak to the Grandeur trail.
Overall, a very long day/night but had some great views along the way with some fall colors.
