Started from Cougar Rock Campground because that's where the standing record started from. Felt great through Mowich and was well ahead of pace. A hotter than expected day without forecasted cloud cover made things pretty tough through the afternoon, but I was still moving pretty well. Hauled ass the last 4 miles to get under 17hrs. Overall a pretty solid day on one of the coolest routes in the world!
