Had a perfect day for this loop - overcast, 60s, and very dry trails. Saw a few bikes in the last 10 miles or so but otherwise had it to myself. Carried all my snacks, filtered water once at Bingo Brook. The trails are well marked and maintained, and very runnable. The descents and Tunnel Ridge especially were excellent. Grateful to VT Huts, Velomont, and Ridgeline Outdoor Collective for all their work.
I was hoping and on track to be under 7 hours but in my excitement managed to miss a turn that should've taken me out to Bean Bridge Rd for the final mile into town. It took me a while to realize my mistake and ended up adding about two more miles. Oops!
