I started this route at 8am on Saturday, June 19 at the MA/NH border and finished at 6:52pm on Monday, June 28 at the NH/Canadian border. These were long hot days and it was a blast traversing a state in which I've hiked so much. I'm brought a camera and a gopro and over the next month or so I will put together a robust trip report. In the meantime, you can see my daily updates on my Instagram feed with my name @eliburakian.
I met some good people, walked through small towns, remote north country, summited 10 4000 footers, destroyed my feet, saw moonrises and bears, hiked Franconia Ridge with no headlamp under the moon, almost stepped on two million frogs and red efts and saw many other highlights. I pushed myself hard and averaged 36 miles a day. This route highlights so many of the amazing features of New Hampshire. I look forward to other people doing this route.
