FKT: Elia Rudolf - Monte Cevedale (Italy) - 2025-07-18

Already right after leaving the parking lot, I could feel the high-altitude air. The ascent didn’t start off too steep but was steady and long. Then came the steep climb up to the glacier. I quickly put on my spikes and crossed the glacier in nearly perfect conditions. The final steep section was difficult due to bare ice, and the spikes didn’t grip well. The descent was much faster and a lot of fun — running down the glacier that quickly was exhilarating. Spikes off, and into the technical downhill. Running out of the valley drained the last bit of energy and was extremely exhausting.
